University project aimed at creating something on non-typical or physical media.
Project ReportDocumentationThis project was a University project that encouraged us to work closer to hardware, we had to unusual or physical mediums to make a game/system. For my project i used a LED Matrix and a Raspberry pi to create a little platforming system and a small library allowing for simpler level building. I got the chance to learn more about techniques including, threading, frame buffering, game physics, on a higher level as it was necessary due to the lack of support form a typical game engine. This project was one of my personal favourites as it was a lot more open than the majority of the modules from uni, and having the freedom to run with our own ideas was something i enjoyed a lot and it allowed to to test out and dive deeper into some of the techniques and systems that i was unable to in previous projects.
